HSDA once again correlates well with 3 body scatter spike depiction

A 3 body scatter spike, indicative of golf ball size hail via local storm reports, was indicated this afternoon across the San Angelo CWA.

The HSDA algorithm diagnosed this storm core as having large to giant size hail throughout much of the depth of the radar volume scan.

In addition, the MESH product from the MRMS suite of products was indicating hail of greater than one inch in diameter.
