HSDA and MESH were both verified with a golf ball hail report in the FWD CWA. The image below shows a capture of the HSDA showing giant hail in the region where the report came from. MESH also showed around 1.5 inch hail at the time. Though it was a bit underdone, the utility of MESH stands.
