NSSL team releases Spring 2013 radar software upgrades

Twice each year NSSL engineers release a software upgrade to improve the capabilities of the National Weather Radar Testbed Phased Array Radar (NWRT PAR). The Spring 2013 upgrade was released this week and is now operational.

NSSL/CIMMS team wins prestigious award for phased-array radar research paper

A team of NSSL/CIMMS scientists were awarded the prestigious Professor Dr. Vilho Vaisala Award for their Outstanding Research Paper, “Rapid Sampling of Severe Storms by the National Weather Radar Testbed Phased Array Radar.”
