An X-Band radar was sampling the storm as mobile mesonets took measurements within the hook echo and tornado cyclone. \u00a0All radars were deployed at the time of tornadogenesis, and valuable dual-Doppler data was collected.\u00a0 Sticknets, disdrometers all reported good deployments.\u00a0 3 pre-storm balloon soundings were taken, and 16 during the storm.\u00a0 Photogrammetry teams were able to perform analyses on the storm.<\/p>\n<p>This remains the best case.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hotel location:\u00a0 Sterling, CO Intercept location:\u00a0 La Grange, WY VORTEX2 targeted a right-moving supercell that formed north of Cheyenne, WY.
