Nusrat is a Senior Research Scientist at the Cooperative Institute for Severe & High-Impact Weather Research and Operations (CIWRO) and NOAA National Severe Storms Laboratory (NSSL) and an adjunct associate professor in the School of Meteorology at the University of Oklahoma.. She is the CIWRO Team Lead of the Data Assimilation and Modeling team in the Forecast Research Development Division. Her research priority is to develop NOAA’s Warn-on-Forecast system (WoFS).
