Adam is a research associate on the Transportation Applications Team. Adam joined NSSL in 2022 after completing his M.S. at North Carolina State University. While his master's thesis focused on supercell dynamics, Adam finds passion for both weather-related transportation hazards and severe convective weather. Adam hails from Grand Rapids, MI, where a childhood interest in meteorology was shaped by lake effect snow, the Cross Country Derecho of July 2011, and an unwarned EF1 tornado.
