April 27-April 29 to share research and identify areas for collaboration.<\/p>\n<p>The guests include the Officer for Tornado Concerns, Head of the Central Development Unit, Radar Measures Project Leader, and the former head of Deutscher Wetterdien&#8217;s Radar Research and Development unit. During the visit they will be presenting their current work, including KONRAD, the German thunderstorm detection and warning system.<\/p>\n<p>NSSL will give a research overview along with short presentations on dual-polarization technology, severe weather research, and the future vision of weather radar.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Four guests from the German Deutscher Wetterdien will be visiting NOAA Weather partners in Norman, Okla.
